Math's week

 This week we was math's week in school. We each have to create a math's eyes project. Teacher started the week with 4 pictures on the board and we had to use our math's eyes to come up with questions about the pictures. 

Then we picked our own pictures from around the classroom and the school. Here is how they turned out. 

We also got to play some math's games on the iPads this week too. 

Autumn art

Our class created some really cool abstract trees and leaves with contrasting colours. They turned out great.  
 

Geography project

We did our first research project on the iPads for geography. We each got a county in Ireland to find out some information about.

We turned ourselves into Minecraft characters for art. Can you recognise anyone?

Some more collaborative pieces

In SPHE we each created a jigsaw piece that represented us. We stuck them altogether to show how we all fit together as a class. In religion we created a circle of friends. This is a big year for us, as we will be making our First Holy Communion in May next year. 

Doing some calculations

Revising ways to make 10, using 10 frames and working on hundreds tens and units. We've been busy!
